Help Needed at future events
The events group really needs YOUR help to put on future events. The work involved in putting on the Frost Fayre and May Fayre is becoming a challenge to the handful of people who regularly turn up to take part, many of whom are now in their sixties and seventies. It would be a real shame for the village to lose these events due to lack of personnel. Please consider offering help on the day or in the longer term with organisation etc. If you can spare a few hours please contact Kevin, our secretary, by emailing [email protected] or come to one of our meetings at the Church Centre on the second Monday of the month at 7:30pm (January meeting 8th January). Next scheduled Fayre is the May Fayre on Monday 7th May 2018. All welcome.
2017 Donations to Charities and Good Causes
At our March meeting the Magor Churchmen's Society donated over £8000 to charities and good causes. We are most grateful to all of our supporters who helped to make this possible.
About us...
The Magor Churchmen’s Society is a non-exclusive organisation that has members from all walks of life. We all have one thing in common and that is the desire to foster community spirit within our villages. Membership is drawn largely from the villages of Magor, Undy and Redwick.
Frost Fayre and Santa's Christmas Eve visits
As you all know, the Magor Churchmen always like to assist Father Christmas by helping him deliver presents in our villages on Christmas Eve. Here are a few photos of a recent Santa run and some photos of our a successful Frost Fayre
